I have installed several similar bike racks over the last few years and this one is by far my favorite. Both for the price and because the install is so fast. I have spent 2+ hours installing other similar ones trying to get them to fit but this one took about 20 minutes and fit great (On both bikes I mounted this one on) It allows for a lot of adjustment to the point that I think it would fit and function well on almost any bike. I initially mounted this on a mountain bike but then swapped it onto my son's BMX, see pics. It is very sturdy, I fully believe it can handle or exceed the stated weight capacities. The fender is a nice touch too, it mounts securely and doesn't move around at all.I have 2 minor criticisms. The first is that the allen bolts on the side are a little bit too long (they appear to be about 1in), using 1/2in long bolts would make this look a bit cleaner and would be faster to tighten down. The second is partially my fault. The bike was left outside during heavy rain for 2 days and this rack developed a few very small rust spots in the welded crease junctions on the top (see pic), I think the black paint didn't seep all the way into the crease so those few spots were left unprotected. Giving 4 stars for this reason. We brushed away the rust on those spots and dabbed some black Rust-Oleum into the creases with a q-tip and now it's good as new and protected from future rain. Considering the price of this unit I'd say that's no big deal.Even with these 2 minor critiques, Overall the functionality is excellent and the install is very easy. Way better deal than similar ones I have seen in my local bike shops. I would definitely order this same one in the future, highly recommended.
