We've been using an Ozark Trail 2-3 man tent for the past 20 years, and we were ready to upgrade to a larger tent that could accommodate more glamping. We wanted something that we could stand up in, fits a queen size air mattress, and holds our gear for car camping. This tent from TGpao definitely fits the bill - the smallest size is roomy for the two of us and a queen intex air mattress and gear. The hubby can almost stand up at 6', but has to hunch just a little bit - it's ten times better than our old tent. As I stated in the video, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is not a divider on the floor as I thought there would be, so I'm very happy that our mattress easily fits. IIt is very easy to assemble, although the instructions provided weren't clear on which poles go where. Anyone who has never assembled a tent before may be confused, but just note that all the steel snap poles are for the tent base, while the fiberglass poles are for holding up the roof and rainfly. It comes with plastic unions to mate up the base to the roof poles, so pretty simple assembly. The rainfly is attached with snap buckles - the male end is on the different tie dows on the rainfly, and can be mated with the femaie connection on the base of the tent. Tie down strings and tent stakes are also included. As for quality, the tent upper material and mesh are pretty standard, as is the rainfly, but the tent's base tarp is pretty thin and can easily be punctured, so you will need a really good mat to put underneath it so you don't tear it. The poles for the base are steel, so very heavy weight-wise, but also heavy duty, so no complaints. All the zippers function well with no issues. I could do without the divider that hangs from the roof, but not a big deal to have it. The fiberglass poles seem to be of a decent quality, as are the hooks that attach to all the poles.Overall, this tent is exactly what we were looking for and at a fairly decent price give the large, roomy design of it. While the materials are a bit thinner that I'd like, I can't complain given the price and size. How durable it is will have to be decided after a season of use, but for car glamping I'm thinking it's going to be fine. I would definitely recommend this tent for anyone looking for a bit more room and car camping. It's much too heavy for backpacking, but perfect for glamping.

It's a large size tent with 2 large rooms. The back room can be split in half with a hanging sheet making it a 3 room tent. It took us a moment to figure out what that odd shaped cloth was for. It is cut as to the curvature of the tent, but it only attaches at the corners, so the top sags. But if you want a little make-shift separation, it works. IMO, the divider needed a couple of more securing points at the top and sides. The center larger room divider has 2 separate zipper doors if you're using the 3 room design, so each area has its own access. It unzips towards the middle so you have a permanent divider. I would have like it better if it zipped to the sides allowing you to use it as one big room. The living room area has zipper doors on all three sides which gives you 3 set up entrance options. The unused doors can be used as windows for air flow. The back room has one large center window, no side windows. Overall, I like the design. On a clear night, you can leave to top cover off and gaze at the stars. It only takes a minute to put the cover on or take it off and they use plastic buckles and straps to secure it to the tent. The tarp flooring comes a few inches up on the side providing additional ground protection. But I do question the quality of the tent. The material is pretty thin which does make it lighter. But will it hold up to a tree branch snagging it? Only time will answer that question. The zippers had issues immediately. They had pulled apart prematurely, half zipped, half unzipped, with the zipper fully at one end. This probably occurred while attaching the fiberglass flexible rods which stretches the material during set up. Luckily, I was able to correct the separated zipper issue. IMO, the biggest issue being the instructions are a little short on details. The post are different sizes which helped us to figure it out; and once you do it, it's easier the next time.

Took this tent out on the river this weekend and put it thru the paces to see how it held up.Assembly was incredibly fast. It comes with a 1 page instruction sheet that isn't very detailed but it was enough to start off of and figure it out. Took maybe 10 minutes to set up between me and my wife although we did use some bigger stakes and some ratchet ropes to make it easier for setup. The tent itself is somewhat sturdy as we only put 2 ropes holding it down directly facing the wind and it held its shape just fine. I say somewhat as the anchor points we did use immediately showed signs of stress and started to tear. This is due to the thickenss of the material more than anything and the corner where the anchor is not being reinforced at all. I will end up just putting a tarp clip on that corner later on if it tears anymore. The tent is waterproof as it was incredibly humid out and our stuff didn't get wet however I'm not sure if it was the shape of the roof or what be we had a slow drip inside the tent from the condensation that accumulated under the roof and it left a little puddle inside. To be fair, we did camp out on a river bank the day before a cold front so the humidity was thru the roof. This tent is huge by the way which I was pretty happy with. It was just me and my wife but I'm sure the kids and our dogs and all our gear would have fit inside. One thing I did like was that there was enough room to put away literally everything inside overnight so we weren't worried about stuff wandering off.The bottom is a pretty thick tarp material which I did like. You don't feel the grass poking at you and it was pretty comfortable to sit on and stury enough to hold our gear and tables inside.Over all I really liked this tent but the tears at the seams are the reason I couldn't rate it any higher.

  1. Nice quality tent.

This tent is well made with heavy fabric and durable zippers. It¡¯s designed to maximize space and isn¡¯t too difficult to set up. The design allows for ample air flow and a comfortable setup. It¡¯s a nice tent for the price.

  2. Our new favorite tent for my family of 5

My family of 5 really loves this tent! We camp a lot and needed something a bit bigger. We wanted more than one room so we could sleep in one and have more room to store items inside bc of rain and poor weather. This tent is our new favorite!
It’s easy to set up meaning out of all the tents we’ve set up, which has been a lot, it scores in the top 3 for us. The zippers work great. We haven’t had any issues with them. It’s roomy for a family or 5. We had plenty of sleeping space and again, that extra room is a huge bonus!
It’s got a barrier for rain so we haven’t had any issues with leakage or water coming in from the bottom if it gets really crazy rain outside. So I’d say the durability is great.
We love that it has the front cover. We sit our chairs out and allow ourselves to relax out of the direct sunlight. When it gets colder the tent seems to do a nice job holding in heat. We do have a mini heater and the tent did great to keep the heat in.
Really happy with this tent! I forgot to get pictures while camping but hopefully I can add them later on.

  3. It's large and thin, but it's completely waterproof and windproof.

We often go camping with our family, so we used to carry around several small tents, but I ordered this one to try out a larger tent. I used it for the first time last weekend when we went camping, and it wasn’t as easy to set up as I expected. It was my first time, so I didn’t understand the instructions well, and it took a long time to finish, but I was satisfied after doing it. The space was large enough for 6 people, and it was great because there was even space to store various luggage and tools. The tent is on the thin side, but it was very waterproof and blocked the wind well, even though it was dewy in the early morning. It was a little difficult because it was my first time, but I think I’ll be able to set it up and understand it more quickly next time. I’m satisfied with the price and recommend purchasing it.

  4. Really enjoying this tent can't wait for next summer now

This is one of the easier tents I’ve had to put together despite its size I have had about 8 different tents over the course of 20 years some were high-end REI two-person ultralight backpacking from my twenties and as I’ve gotten older I’ve really appreciated car camping more and this hits the spot for the quality I look for and for the ease of putting it together. It really held up despite the rain and when that we went through unexpectedly. There’s plenty of room for multiple mattresses and all your extra gear having the extra room was really a nice bonus when we were stuck inside cuz of the rain and the wind and for the price of the quality I was really impressed

  5. The Weekend Palace

This is less a tent and more a weekend palace, providing an incredible amount of space for our large family trips and immediately feeling like a robust, high quality shelter. The combination of PE and Oxford cloth is substantial and thick, and the neat stitching along the seams confirms this home away from home is built to handle strong weather without issue. The three room design is perfect for separating the kids’ sleeping area from the adult space, comfortably fitting all our gear and our group of 6. I especially love the screened porch, which lets us sit outside and enjoy the breeze in the evenings while keeping all the biting insects completely out. Despite its massive size, the pop up setup is genuinely straightforward, meaning we spent far less time wrestling with poles and more time relaxing. We tested its capabilities during a surprise downpour and everything inside remained perfectly dry and protected, thanks to the double layer fabric construction. For groups or anyone seeking a truly spacious all season shelter, this tent is an excellent value that elevates the camping experience.

  6. Excellent tent for long term camping

Most people only camp for a weekend or a week, but I tend to go out for a couple of weeks or a month at a time, and so I need a roomy tent. Tthis is large enough that I can keep my cot and Stuph out of sight, sensibly stacked, and still have room for guests on the inevitable rainy days. I set it up, and on the light to moderate rainy day we had, it remained quite dry, thanks to the fly, although * think I will add a tarp if so MN e heavy rain is forecast. I was able to set it up by myself, and I really spent more time reading and interpreting the instructions than I dis setting up- I’m sure it will go much faster next time. It comes with everything you need, a storage bag, ropes and stakes, although I will replace the stakes with heavier ones, just because of Murphy’s law. Attractive, comfirtable, and a good value.

  7. Works great

This tent is spacious, well-ventilated, and perfect for large families or group camping. The multi-room design offers privacy, and the screened porch is great for enjoying fresh air without bugs. It¡¯s waterproof and easy to set up, making it convenient for glamping or outdoor vacations.

The materials feel durable, and the tent provides plenty of room for sleeping, storing gear, and relaxing. Overall, a comfortable, practical, and family-friendly camping solution.

  8. Good looking and great value

The Tgpao family tent is very good quality and user friendly
There was some slight rain the morning of camping and there was no leakage or issues with it at all
The material is thin but very sturdy and durable feeling
The tent itself is exceptionally roomy and is actually larger feeling than I anticipated
The instructions are clear and concise which I didn¡¯t reference too much due to its easy set nature
Took about 15 minutes with a few other hands helping out
The color of the tent is very nice and easy to spot when coming to and from camp.
I asked my family to help look for any leaks before heading to bed and didn¡¯t spot any. Leaks. Zero.
This is a very nice high quality tent for an amazing price. I definitely love it and also packing it back up was probably the trickiest part of it all. Just break it down slowly and keep all the aorta together and easy to pull out when using it again.

  9. Awesome tent design, mediocre materials, but still a great value for what you get

We’ve been using an Ozark Trail 2-3 man tent for the past 20 years, and we were ready to upgrade to a larger tent that could accommodate more glamping. We wanted something that we could stand up in, fits a queen size air mattress, and holds our gear for car camping. This tent from TGpao definitely fits the bill – the smallest size is roomy for the two of us and a queen intex air mattress and gear. The hubby can almost stand up at 6′, but has to hunch just a little bit – it’s ten times better than our old tent. As I stated in the video, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is not a divider on the floor as I thought there would be, so I’m very happy that our mattress easily fits. I

It is very easy to assemble, although the instructions provided weren’t clear on which poles go where. Anyone who has never assembled a tent before may be confused, but just note that all the steel snap poles are for the tent base, while the fiberglass poles are for holding up the roof and rainfly. It comes with plastic unions to mate up the base to the roof poles, so pretty simple assembly. The rainfly is attached with snap buckles – the male end is on the different tie dows on the rainfly, and can be mated with the femaie connection on the base of the tent. Tie down strings and tent stakes are also included.

As for quality, the tent upper material and mesh are pretty standard, as is the rainfly, but the tent’s base tarp is pretty thin and can easily be punctured, so you will need a really good mat to put underneath it so you don’t tear it. The poles for the base are steel, so very heavy weight-wise, but also heavy duty, so no complaints. All the zippers function well with no issues. I could do without the divider that hangs from the roof, but not a big deal to have it. The fiberglass poles seem to be of a decent quality, as are the hooks that attach to all the poles.

Overall, this tent is exactly what we were looking for and at a fairly decent price give the large, roomy design of it. While the materials are a bit thinner that I’d like, I can’t complain given the price and size. How durable it is will have to be decided after a season of use, but for car glamping I’m thinking it’s going to be fine. I would definitely recommend this tent for anyone looking for a bit more room and car camping. It’s much too heavy for backpacking, but perfect for glamping.

  10. Family tent

It’s stable, durable, great quality, comfortable, while being big enough and spacious enough to fit multiple people.
